What can an Éfféré Equine Session include?

Every horse-and-human partnership is different, so each session is shaped around what you and your horse need that day.

Depending on your situation, the session may include assessing your horse’s body and movement, equine osteopathic bodywork, riding or groundwork coaching, support with communication and behaviour, or practical guidance for your everyday work together.

We may also look at your posture, body awareness, balance, confidence or possible fears that affect the partnership.

By bringing these different areas together, we can look beyond one individual symptom and gain a clearer understanding of the whole situation.

You will also receive practical guidance and exercises that you can continue with after the session.

Who is Anne Éfféré

I’m originally from Finland and now live in Norway, where I run together with my husband our own farm surrounded by animals and nature.

I have worked with horses for most of my life.

I started teaching riding when I was 17 and worked with young show jumping horses at a Grand Prix stable in Ireland when I was 19. Since then, I have continued working with horses in many different ways for over twenty years.

My background includes running my own stable, training horses, teaching riders, competing in dressage at national team level in Finland, international education in equine osteopathy, official education as a riding coach, and coaching riders of all levels.

I also continuously study personal growth, self-awareness, mindset and the deeper connection between humans, animals and nature. This is an important part of my work and allows me to support not only practical challenges, but also confidence, fear, awareness and the horse-human partnership as a whole.

Today, I bring all of this together in Éfféré Equine Bodywork & Coaching.

This allows me to look at the whole picture: the horse’s body, movement, behaviour and communication, the rider’s posture, body awareness and balance, riding and groundwork, daily life, and most importantly, the partnership between horse and human.
